It would seem the band has been polishing their 'Metal' for this album.
Personally, I would like to hear a continuation of the Evocation.
But I guess you can't have everything.
I just hope they remember that the 'Folk' in Folk Metal also belongs in the music itself, not just the lyrics.

Why are bands like Eluveitie, Ensiferum, Equilibrium etc. always part of little festivals like Heidenfast or similar festivals and don't do solo tours? Would like to see one concert of them that lasts longer than an hour :/
Anyway Eluveitie is amazing and the new album contains most of my favourite songs of them (helvetios, havoc, the siege, alesia, meet the enemy) I love this awesome band \m/
