Sancezz: My mistake. I was thinking of the song Gold on Herzwerk II (The only song I skip on that album) and thought it was much better sounding version.. Well of course it is because it's not even the same song.
Heuchler is still my favorite Megaherz album but I have come to the conclusion that Götterdämmerung is also a good album. In their sound though I don't see much difference like some have said.

New album sounds to me like they've got a bit of their spark and drive back. The music has a much stronger presence. I've always liked Megaherz, and although it became apparent how much of a driving force Noel and Alexx were when they formed Eisbrecher, 5 was still a pretty nice album. Heuchler I couldn't get into at all, and I nearly gave up on them. Jagdzeit gave me faith though, and after a couple of listens I'm happy to say I'm rather enjoying this album. Not sure why they felt the need to re-record Das Licht Am Ende Der Welt though. Also, am I missing something? I didn't think Herz Aus Gold was a previous Megaherz song? Can't find it listen on any of the albums?

After my first listen, Götterdämmerung was better than I thought it would be. I wasn't a big fan of Heuchler, so I didn't have a lot of hope for this album, but it was better than expected. I do prefer the original "Das Licht am Ende der Welt," but the version of "Herz aud Gold" on here was pretty good. I'll give this album a few more listens.

"5" is my least favorite album from Megaherz although Gott Sein '04 totally owns the original. It's my fave Megaherz song. I have to listen to Götterdämmerung more to give my honest opinion about the album but on the first three listens it didn't sound very good.

Götterdämmerung is a powerful name, and the album lives up to it.
Whereas Heuchler sounded to me a little too much like your basic metal
music, this new work marks Megaherz's return to the core of the NDH-
style. This is exemplified by more electro-samples and Lex's vocals which
overall seem to have improved since 2008. While I still think Matze Elsholz's
vocals made "5" an outstanding album, Götterdämmerung is certainly better
produced. Fünf Sterne.

Sadly not feeling the new album. Like Jagdzeit a lot though.. Heuchler took some listens to grow on me and now I love it but somehow I doubt Götterdämmerung can do the same. [2]

Götterdämmerung ist für mich persönlich nur ein durschnittsalbum und das schwächste Album nach Herzwerk, die anderen Album botten mehr härte und auch die Art der Lieder ist abwechslungreicher als bei Götterdämmerung.

Ich finde das sich Jagdzeit sich eher nach dem Album 5 anhört, aber ich hatte gehoft das es ein Album wie Heuchler wird da ich persönlich finde das Heuchler das beste Album ist, aber mal sehen wie dann das neue Album am 20.01 wird, erst mal Megaherz am 16.12 Live sehen mit Subway to Sally.

gebe ds_one recht... es war von anfang an das ziel.. bei diesem album mehr tonal zu spielen und zu singen... ich find es ist gut gelungen, ohne den eigenen soundcharakter zu verlieren

I think every Megaherz song is very special on its own way. I didn't see it in Jagtzeit and Heut' Nacht. They have no soul. If they wanted a sexy song, they didn't succeed with Jagtzeit. FFF, Ruf Mich An, Spiel Nicht and Das Tier are far much better. Sorry I'm saying this is English. I understand German, but can't write or talk =/

Wie kann man Jagtzeit nicht mögen und sagen es klingt nicht nach Megaherz? Es ist quasi eine 1:1 Kopie des alten Sounds mit einem neuen Alex, der auch fast genauso klingt wie der alte Alex und das bei DEN Lin-Up Changes... Was will man da noch? Oo
