@Skooma714: As a Midwesterner, their accent kind of has a twang to it to me; sort of Southern/Texan. But yeah, a lot of Swedes tend to have an North American accent when singing in English, which is strange considering they learn British English in school.

IF your gonna listen to swedish music listen to Ultima Thule, one of the best selling bands ever in sweden with 3 albums and two singles at the swedish top 20 at the same time, veyr high places too, Dia Psalma is also a good swedish band.
