New album isn't as flawless as "I, Vigilante" and that is the one and only point where I can agree with Jureiko. And there is still Joe singing on the album, he left after recordings.

radio-friendly rocking vibe? I have to quote Sopranos in this one - "give me a fcuking break!" ;) there are just a couple of "friendly rocking" songs on this album, lot of great instrumental parts.. they changed a style of course, as you cant play with the same style every single album.. As a rock musician and a big fan of a rock music I have to say this album brought something new to the modern postrock/instrumental/rock music. But its just my opinion, no worries.

Sadly, the new album is a step down from its predecessor. Songs on MTCA are either boring/devoid of interesting parts or loaded with stupid radio-friendly rocking vibe. New vocalist sounds pleasant to the ear though.

I agree with sebfiscer. Objectively the new singer has a great voice, but subjectively - one important reason why I love CBP was Joes warm voice that always gave me shivers and as I can tell so far by the vids, the new singer does not achieve that. But I'll wait with my final opinion till I see them live. ;)
