Yeah, she decided that this time she wanted to make a record with less screaming and more story telling songs (producer's idea). I love the album and I think it's nice to hear something different from Beth. Only song that I don't like the production on is 'My California'.

I think it's just a bunch of easy listening ballads. Maybe it's the production work. I miss Beth's hoarse voice style. But there are some interesting songs. Anyway it's good to have her back.
