@TheGrimMonolith Et is doch vollkommen egal, ob man sich in Zukunft an diese Musik erinnert oder nich. Die Leute haben heute ihren Spaß damit. Die Musik erfüllt hier und jetzt ihren Zweck, und etwas anderes sollte eigentlich keine Rolle spielen, wenns um Musik geht.

Kalkbrenner ist wieder ein typischer Hype-Künstler, der in wenigen Jahren vergessen sein wird. Das, was der heute so "hip" und "cool" macht, haben wir Ende der 90er schon gehört. Kalter Kaffee.

Icke Weider is really disappointing, and his live sets are becoming really repetitive (he's been playing the same tracks and loops for over 4 years now). Let's just hope Berlin Calling wasn't a one-hit wonder.

This is why LastFM can be really cool - I had never heard of Paul Kalkbrenner before, but through one of my weekly clicking around on the site I found a user that had Paul as the most played artist by far - and I simply had to check him out. I instantly felt that there was potential. Although I wasn't blown away. And I wouldn't say that have changed. But, without a doubt, Paul is someone I can find myself listening to night after night - because feel that PK is mostly suitable for night time. Very chill out sound. Favorite track? Hard to say. Maybe Dockyard.

Berlin Calling <3 imho sountrack is better than film, but I love it anyway. I really like the scene with a party in psychiatric clinic - just like in Cuckoo' Nest, but in the newest and more positive crazy way. "Altes Kamuffel" and "Moob" are the part of the soundtrack of my life :>
