Über 10 Jahre sind RISE AGAINST aus Chicago nun schon auf den Bühnen der Welt unterwegs. Gegründet 1999, gehören sie mit mittlerweile fünf Alben neben vergleichbaren Bands wie z.B. Green Day zu den erfolgreichsten Bands ihres Genres.
Nach ausgiebigen Deutschland-Tourneen in den letzten Jahren und der stetig wachsenden Fangemeinde sind die US-Punkrocker nun auch hierzulande auf dem Sprung zum großen Durchmarsch in die erste Rockband-Liga und veröffentlichen nun mit Endgame das bereits sechste Studioalbum der Band. Produziert wurde Endgame von Bill Stevenson (Black Flag, NOFX, Propagandhi u.v.m) und Jason Livermore (Puddle of Mudd u.v.m.).

Auf ihrem kommenden Album widmen sich RISE AGAINST aktuellen Themen. Sänger Tim McIlrath zum Beispiel zum Titel des Albums: "Es geht um den Zerfall der Zivilisation: Kriege, Hungersnöte, die Finanz- und Umweltkrise bilden den Hintergrund, vor dem wir die Frage stellen, was an dieser Welt, die wir geschaffen haben, gut sein soll, und ob es überhaupt sinnvoll ist, sie zu retten."
