I can't understand why Take On Me is sooooooo popular and the second place is sooooooooo far away. As for me Summer Moved On is at the same level of greatness. And other songs also.

These guys are perhaps the most underrated band I can think of. At times a bit inconsistent, but overall just quite brilliant. Beautifully crafted pop songs with very strong melodies and arrangements. And those great profound lyrics! I bet 80% of the nitwits listening to a-ha don't have a clue what they're singing about and couldn't care less. And that is a damn tragedy. I shall salute them forever!

Honestly, compared to some songs, 'Take on Me' is just a mediocre accomplishment. Brilliant tunes, I'm gonna keep headbutting the wall for not listening to these guys before.
