There is a tinkling sting instrument in the second half of the choruses of Piano Man (... "He said 'son can you play me a memory?'/ He says, "Bill, I believe this is killing me'/ And the waitress is practising politics/And the piano, it sounds like a carnival..."). A mandolin? A bandura? Any ideas anyone? I'm dying to know!
