Das Quintett hat einerseits sein Talent für bombastischen Britischen Rock gesteigert, aber andererseits auch einen Touch von Unberechenbarkeit erhalten. Selbst Singles wie der Titelsong haben dem Trend widerstanden, dahinschmelzenden Standard-Gitarrensound zu produzieren, wie er in Kommerz-Radios so heiß geliebt wird. Wenn die CD irgendetwas bewiesen hat, dann war es die Tatsache, daß Radiohead ein solides Terrain gefunden hat: zwischen experimenteller Popmusik und dem traditionellen "So-muß-er-sein-Spaß-Rock". --Nick Heil
